Surviving the Cup Quiz

Will You Survive the Elemental Cup?

forest path

Every Elementai that is bonded to a Familiar in the Hawkei world must enter the Elemental Cup– a deadly coming-of-age tournament. You have four people on your team– one from each Elemental House. Would you and your teammates survive? Find out and test your skills!

It’s the start of the Cup, and your team is already fighting. Who do you blame for the disunity?

The guy who’s arrogant and wants to take control– he acts like he knows it all.
The person who doesn’t have a plan. The less organized we are, the bigger chance we’ll die out here.
Yourself– you need to be a better leader and teammate.
The girl who is timid and afraid– if she’s not confident in her abilities, we won’t survive this.

For your first task, you have to climb over a mountain. But giant boulders come rolling down out of nowhere! What do you do?

Get the Earth person to make the boulders roll away from you. They look heavy but you believe she can do it.
Run into the nearest cave. You might be buried alive temporarily, but you’ll find a way out and it’s better than being crushed.
Combine your magic to make a wall out of dirt, ice and wind to hide behind. That way, the boulders can smash into so they don’t hurt you. You hope the wall holds.

Uh-oh. You have to cross a giant lake, but there’s a huge storm whipping up. What do you do?

Have a Water teammate try to calm the waves, then swim across.
Ask an Air person to fly you over the lake… even though there’s lightning.
Work together. Have the Water teammate make a bridge of ice to walk across while the rest of you try to control the uncontrollable storm.

Your team is slowly starving. You need food. Do you:

Push onward. You’ll run into food eventually, and the longer you stay in one place the bigger chance you’ll starve anyway.
Ask your Familiar to hunt animals you can cook, though it takes up time and you’ll fall behind.
Harvest bark, berries, and plants you can eat quickly without wasting a lot of time.

It’s getting cold. You’re going to freeze to death soon. What do you do?

You need shelter. Work together to build a makeshift hut, although it takes time and it’s getting colder by the minute.
Have a Fire person make a really big fire, and hope it doesn’t attract any other teams.
Huddle together with your Familiars for warmth. Try to have the Fire person regulate the temperature in the area.

Your next task is Air. It’s so blustery out that any moment now, your teammates will be carried away into the sky by a windstorm! How do you help them?

You don’t. You know they’re goners, so you save yourself.
Make a chain. Use what’s on hand to tie yourselves to each other, so that you’re heavier and can’t be carried away as easily.
Run after them, and try to control the Air by using your magic so you can grab them and drag them back down to the ground.

There’s another team nearby. Here’s your chance to get ahead! What do you do?

You want to win! You attack so you can get an advantage.
Leave them in peace. You’re just trying to survive, not beat everyone.

A teammate is dying. You’re pretty sure they aren’t going to make it. What do you do?

You won’t leave anyone behind. You stay and try to find a way to save them.
Leave them behind and move on. You have to think of the rest of the team.
Kill them off. It’s more merciful and they’ll only drag the team down.

There’s a shortcut to the flag at the end of the race. You know you’re ahead, so you could win this thing! The shortcut is more dangerous than the main path… but your team isn’t going to last much longer. You don’t know if they’ll make the long hike. What do you do?

Debate about what to do. Decide to split up, with half the team taking the main path and others taking the shortcut.
Take the shortcut. You’ll have to fight through it, but your team doesn’t have much energy left for the main path.
Take the main path. It’s safe, but a long hike.

Oh no! There’s a fire tornado, and it’s right in front of the finish line! You have to find a way through. Do you:

Split up, and try running past it in all different directions.
Have the Fire person handle it while the rest of the teammates run.
Have the Fire person keep it still. Then use Water, Air and Earth magic to try and put it out together.
